Step by Step
The Consultation
First things first! It’s best to start the Maternity Portrait experience with an in depth consultation. This way, we ensure we are both on the same page about what YOU are looking to get out of your session. This is done by phone, but in-person is offered if you want to tour the photo studio and the maternity photo session wardrobe. Maternity photos are typically taken between 32-36 weeks along.
The Wardrobe
We have a gorgeously curated studio wardrobe available for our clients to shop from for their Maternity photo sessions. We offer a wide variety of styles and sizes, you really won’t need to bring a thing unless you want to!
I always encourage my Maternity clients to visit the Studio before purchasing anything for the Maternity Portrait session because you are certain to find something you LOVE!
Hair & Make-up
Professional Hair & Make-up is included in your Maternity session fee. HSP only hires the best of the best. As both professional photographers and hair and make-up artists, it is our job to make sure you look your best for the camera and feel comfortable and confident doing so!
The Photoshoot
It’s showtime! This is where we bring it all together. It is my job to make you feel comfortable, confident and gorgeous in front of the camera! Many start out a bit nervous during a photoshoot but before long you will find your stride and we will be having a blast doing it! Definitely an experience you will never forget!
You are welcome to have your partner and children join you if it applies! I recommend they come at the start of the Maternity session so we can focus on you, the star of the show for the remainder.
The Reveal &
Selection Process
It’s time to see what we worked so hard for. You will receive an Online Proofing Gallery where you will view your images for the very first time. This selection process will include a gallery of UNEDITED images with only 1-2 images Fully edited displaying a sample of what the Final Product will look like. The Final Collection you choose will Depend on how many images you choose for your final collection. All Collections are Digital Collections with the option to purchase prints/art only if you choose.
Product Delivery & Installation
If you did choose to order Print Products, they will be delivered to your home once I receive them. If you ordered wall art, my team will help install the wall art for you if you prefer! All print products will be delivered at this time.
