Why invest in Professional photos? In this fast paced highly evolving world of technology, we are more likely to snap our home photo’s with our smart phone than that expensive family camera you have safely tucked away in the closet, I’m guilty of this myself! It’s worth having some photos taken that can stand the test of time – digital and print copies. Professional portraits are a great way to capture the milestones that pass us by all too quickly, and let’s be honest, most of us tend to dodge those daily smart phone photos because we don’t feel “Camera Ready”. Booking a photo session is a great way to get in the photo with your Children and create a timeless, classic gift that keeps on giving over the years and can be passed along from generation to generation – an investment worth making!

ALL PHOTO SESSIONS HAVE A SESSION FEE OF - $250

Session fee covers photographer’s time, talent, use of props, wardrobe and hair/make-up if applicable. Everything you see in my portfolio is part of the studio wardrobe and accessories collection. Due to the nature of the business and scheduling, the full session fee is due at time of booking. The session fee DOES NOT include your digital packages or print products. Maternity Session

What’s included: This session typically lasts 1 hour and is for Mama ONLY. You will have complete access to the studio wardrobe and hair and make-up is provided in studio before the session starts.

Maternity + Family Portrait Package (6 people or less)

What’s included: This session typically lasts 1 hour and is for Mama and Family. You will have complete access to the studio wardrobe for Mom and children. Styling assistance will be provided for Dad/Partners. Hair and make-up is provided in studio before the session starts for Mom.

Maternity + Family Portrait sessions are available for Mama’s who would like to capture the entire gang in her Maternity photos. These portrait sessions usually last about 60 minutes and will be treated as a regular family session with a focus on Mama and her growing belly. I like to split the session by doing individual photos of just Mama, Parents only, the entire family, Mama and the kids, Sibling only and as always the DETAILS (my favorite). These sessions will take place either in studio or during the sunset/sunrise hour(s) only for outdoors if seasonally appropriate.

Fresh 48 (In Hospital Newborn Session)

What’s included:  (I recommend booking this session before your third trimester to ensure a spot on my calendar. This session typically lasts 45 – 60 mins. This session is taken in Hospital after baby has been born, typically the day after depending on arrival time. This gives mom some time to freshen up and relax and often captures siblings first meeting. This session can also capture babies first bath if you choose to delay and coordinate that for my arrival. It’s amazing how much baby will change from day one and two to week one and two. Much of the session is focused on baby, the fresh details of baby and the love between the family and siblings. These sessions can be tailored to capture whatever you choose. I typically bring a few items such as wraps and simple accessories for some variety but for the most part capture them, as they are, fresh and new.

**It is highly recommended to BOOK your Newborn session months in advance to ensure a spot on my calendar, calling after baby is born is not ideal since it is best to shoot within 16 days of birth – Newborn Sessions are booked on weekdays ONLY as parents typically have more flexibility in the weeks after having baby and my weekends are booked out far in advance with other sessions**

What’s included: I always include parent and sibling shots with these sessions if desired. (this session typically takes around 3 hours) Hair and Make-up for Mom can be arranged in studio before the session.

I have ALL of the Newborn Props and Accessories – everything you see in my portfolio is mine from A-Z so no need to bring a thing!! 

Newborn sessions usually take about 3 hours. Let’s be real, even though these little bundles of joy just arrived, they’re running the show! Patience is key with these sessions, and breaking for feedings is almost always necessary to keep baby happy, calm and sleepy. Shooting this session within the first 16 days of life is ideal! Newborn “In-Studio Lifestyle” Session

** The Newborn stage usually refers to a baby from birth to about 2 months of age, since these sessions aren’t posed booking between this time frame is recommended.**

What’s included: The setup for this session will be neutral and focused on baby. I have gorgeous bassinets and blankets in the studio that we will use to tell your story. Parent and sibling shots ARE included and encouraged with these lifestyle sessions and usually captured on the bed setup I have in studio. I have a large variety for wardrobe in my studio that will complement this style of session, we will certainly speak beforehand if you have specific requests. 

This session type is perfect for the family looking to capture more relaxed and unposed shots of this special time in your life, without having to make sure your own home is super tidy for an in-home session! We all know how exhausting and emotional having a newborn in the house is and sometimes dishes and laundry take a backseat to catching some extra zzzzzz’s!! Leave the mess behind and come to my gorgeous studio. In-studio Newborn “Lifestyle” sessions usually take up to 1 hour. Breaking for feedings might still be necessary during these sessions to keep baby happy so we make time for that if needed.

Baby/Child Milestone Session

What’s included: This session is for 1 child (ages 4 and under) for their milestone session. Of course all the props and wardrobe are supplied, so no need to go shopping! These sessions typically last 45 minutes. I have a Milestone Loyalty Program that offers 15% off your session fee of each subsequent session (*valid for milestone sessions ONLY – must be for same child – Newborn Clients automatically get 15% off milestone sessions!)

Family Portrait Package
(immediate family members)

What’s included: Family Portrait sessions are available in-studio year round or outdoors between the months of June – October. Portrait sessions usually last about 60 minutes, I like to split the session by doing individual photos of the kids, some of sibling only if applicable and of course focus on the entire family. In-Studio Sessions will take place in the mid-morning – early afternoon hours of the day and outdoor sessions will take place during the Sunset hours of the evening. You will have full access to studio wardrobe and hair and make-up is included for Mom if desired.

Minneapolis MN Glamour Portraits

MODERN GLAMOUR FINE ART PORTRAITS

 

What’s included: These sessions take place at my Studio where we will not only take your gorgeous photos but select your wardrobe and have your glam done!  You will have complete access to as many looks as you desire for your Glamour session (it will be pretty hard to choose once you see my studio wardrobe in person!) We have sizes from 00 – 3x and I am always adding to my collection. Of course you are welcome to bring your own selection too!  

Rest assured, these sessions will be stress free and extremely fun! Arrive in your pajamas and we will do the rest.

MODERN Headshots

 

What’s included: These sessions typically take place at my Studio unless there is a specific office setting you prefer. As with all of my sessions, complete access to my studio wardrobe and accessories is included. You will have complete access to as many looks as you desire for your Head Shot session. For women, We have sizes from 00 – 3x and I am always adding to my collection. Of course you are welcome to bring your own selection too!  As for men, typically wardrobe is selected from your own closet however I am happy to go over my in studio options as well.

We can get as creative as you like or keep it simple, it all depends on your headshot requirements if there are any. This will be discussed in detail at the time of booking/consultation.

  • Session is not confirmed until the Session Fee has been paid in full and Photography Agreement has been signed.
  • All photographs are copyrights of  Heidi Sakallah and it is illegal to copy, scan, submit into contests, manipulate, crop, edit or reproduce any images without written permission whether purchased or not.
  • If there is illness, we can reschedule for a time that works for both parties (photographer and family)
